Fundraiser for Nicholas Rickey Foundation
Dr. Girgenti presented a check for $1500 to Dina Bigham, who is a board member of the Nickolas Rickey Foundation. The check was donated to further their work in fulfilling wishes for young adults facing cancer. The contribution represents a percentage of adjustment services which were donated to the Foundation.
The BlueLine Ball Sponsorship
Dr. David Girgenti was presented with an appreciation plaque from Sgt. Eric Boettcher of the Rockford Police Dept. for Med Plus sponsorship of The BlueLine Ball. The event is a fundraising event of the Rockford Police Department benefiting the Jenny Lynn Society which provides assistance to neglected and/or abused children.
K-9 Unit Fundraiser
We were visited by two of our favorite furry heroes from the canine unit of the Rockford Police Department. Our practice raised enough money with its fundraiser to land itself a silver level sponsorship in the “In Dogs We Trust” fundraiser benefiting the K-9 unit.
Teacher Appreciation Month
Dr. Aaron Sheley and staff visited several local schools to provide complimentary stress relief chair massages to Rockford School District 205 employees as part of our Teacher Appreciation Month.
Aaron Atkinson
Sgt. Aaron Atkinson presented Dr. Girgenti and Dr. McMullen with an American flag which flew over his compound in Afghanistan in appreciation for the complimentary care he received from our practice in appreciation of his extraordinary service to our country.
Rock House Kids Fundraiser
Dr. Girgenti, Dr. Sheley and Dr. Jimenez presented Barb Seabaugh of Rock House Kids with a $1500 check which represents a percentage of services donated to the organization from our practice fundraiser to benefit the organization. Rock House Kids provides after school programs, mentoring, meals, tutoring and Christian formation to at risk children in Rockford.
